Happy New Year Card!!

HELLO MINT OWL STUDIO FRIENDS!!
Larissa here today to share a FUN New Year's Card!!
I hope you all had an AMAZING Christmas and are looking forward to a FABULOUS New Year!!?? I know I am!! I thought it would be FUN to use the SWEET Party Pals Stamp Set and the Half Tone Stencil to create a New Year's Card!!
 

I started by Stamping and Embossing the Images onto Distress Watercolor Paper and then Watercoloring them using some Distress Ink!! I had to do some Masking in order to make it look as though the SWEET Girl Image was holding the Banner!! I used some Masking Paper to Stamp the Banner Image and then Cut it out!! I Stamped and Embossed the Banner and then the Party Sentiment!! Then I placed the Banner Mask over the top of the Banner and Stamped and Embossed the Sweet Girl Image over the Top of the Banner!! I also Stamped and Embossed the arty Hat Image and then Fussy Cut it out after it was Watercolored and Dry!! I Die Cut the Image out using a Stitched Heart and then Die Cut a Stitched Rectangle to use as my Card Base!! I used some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to Ink my Stenciled Design onto the Stitched Rectangle Card Base and I LOVE the Disco-ish Pattern that it added as a Background for my Heart Shaped Focal!! I added the Heart Focal with some Fun Foam and also popped up Card Base Panel for even more Dimension!! Then I added some Sequins and some Glitter Pen to some of the Images and my Card was done!!

Happy Holiday Shaker Ornament

Hello everyone,

Today I thought I would try and make an ornament.  

I die cut the hexagon frames with white card stock and did some ink blending with Mint ink.  I used some black shimmer spray and added some splatter.  I cut out the same frame from fun foam to create the shaker well and then added the acetate and the Mint Owl Sequins mix and a few seed beads from my stash and then another piece of acetate to form a see-through window.  Then I added another frame to the back to finish off the shaker. 

To make the hanger for the ornament I added some thick white thread and added it between the front panel and fun foam and added extra liquid adhesive.  

I used the sentiment happy holidays from the Trim the Tree set and heat embossed it with white embossing powder on to a piece of black card stock that I cut out with a banner die.

Larissa here to share a FUN Holiday Shaker Card!! I've used the
Cardinal Greetings Stamp Set!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the images onto Distress Watercolor Paper!! I then Watercolored them using Distress Inks and then Fussy Cut out the Cardinal and the Branch!! I wanted some Pine Trees so I used Distress Inks and Stamped them then coated them with some Clear Embossing Powder!! I Die Cut a Stitched Circle for the Shaker Window and added some Acetate and Fun Foam!! I used the Honey Bee Stamps Poinsettia Sequin Mix for my Shaker Elements and then added some Nuvo Red Slippers Drops for the Berry's and some Nuvo Morning Dew Drops for the Beak!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!

Larissa here today to share a SWEET Holiday Card using the New Trim the Tree Stamp Set along with the Holly from the Dear Santa Stamp Set!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these New Images and CAN'T WAIT to share what I've made!!

I Stamped and Embossed the Images onto some Distress Watercolor Paper and then used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to watercolor the Images!! I've used (047 May Green, 033 Persian Green, 022 Carmine & 024 Wine Red for the Holly, 034 Dull Blue, 030 Blue & 033 Persian for the Blue Ornament, 063 Ochre & 067 Mustard for the Ornament Toppers, 027 Dark Pink & 070 Orange for the Pink Ornament, 082 Purple & 042 Turquoise Green for the Purple Ornament) I then Stamped and Embossed some of the Pine Leaves for the Top of the Card and then added some Watercolor for the Leaves and some Splatters for some Texture!! A Sprinkling of Sequins and a Stamped and Embossed Sentiment and my Card was done!!

Missing you PIG Time!!

Hello Mint Owl Studio Fans!!
Larissa here to share a FUN Shaker Card today using the  Piggy Party Stamp Set!! I started by Die Cutting a Heart Window and backed it with Acetate!! Then I added a Mixture of Sequins to resemble the Mud!! I Stamped and Embossed the Images and used Distress Inks to Watercolor them in and then Fussy Cut them out to create the Scene!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto a Black Banner Flag and added it to the Left Hand Side of the Card!! I also added a FUN Fence Die Cut to Finish off the Design!!  I LOVE the way it turned out!!

Intro: Birthday Bash!!

Who's EXCITED!!??
Larissa here Today to Introduce the New "Birthday Wishes" Stamp Set!!
SQUEAL!! How FUN is this New Set!!

For my Card today I Stamped and Embossed the Balloon Bundle and then used the Solid Balloon Image to add the Color to the Balloons with some Distress Inks with Masking!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way the Inks Blend and work together!! Then just to show how well these New Images work with the Older Stamp Sets I Stamped and Embossed the Dump Truck from the "Under Construction" Stamp Set!! I wanted the Balloon Bundle to look like its attached to the Back of the Dump Truck!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the New Stamp Set and I hope I've INSPIRED you today!!??

Get Whale Soon Shaker Card!!

HELLO!!
Larissa here to start the Week off with a SWEET Get "Whale" Soon Shaker Card!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the New "Get Well Critters" Stamp Set and thought it would be FUN to add some Flowers to the Belly of the Whale Image for a more Femine Design!! I Stamped and Embossed the Whale Image onto some Distress Watercolor Paper using Hero Arts White Embossing Powder!! Then I took the Flower Wreath Image from the "Bundles of Joy" Stamp Set and Stamped and Embossed it onto the Belly of the Whale again with White Embossing Powder!! I used Distress Inks to Watercolor the Images and then Die Cut some Waves and a Background for my Shaker Window!! I added the Sequins and a Sentiment in a NEW Stitched Die coming SOON (make sure to Join us Next Week for the Release Introductions for August!!) I added some Twine, some Flowers and the Whale to Finish of the Front of the Card!! I LOVE the way it turned out and think it will bring a MUCH needed SMILE to someone's Face!!

90s Styled Birthday Card!! =)

HELLO and HAPPY Sunday!!
Larissa here with a FUN 90's Styled Birthday Card!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Images in the NEW 90s Party Stamp Set!! I wanted to use some Pastel Colors and then I Layered the Cassette Tape Images using Masking and I Watercolored them using my Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar!! I used Antique Linen for the Cassette Bodies and then Hickory Smoke for the Tape!! I Stamped and Embossed Several Sentiments (A Pirate's Life, Beach Babes, Butterfly Kisses and Best Finfriends) and for the Cassettes creating a FUN Personalized Sentiment for the Card!! I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and added some Lawn Fawn Merman Cardstock to make the Card Panel POP!! Hope this has INSPIRED you today!!??
