Sending Smiles

Hello!

Tara is joining us today with a cute shaker card!  I love the fun, bright colors of ink she used and those sequins are amazing!  She used the Beach Babes stamp set for this card.

To stamp the images, she flipped over the stamp to get the solid image.  She then stamped the outline image over it.  Such a cool technique!

Have a great day!

You, Me, & the Sea

Hello!

Lisa is here with us today and she created a gorgeous sunrise using Distress Inks.  The color combination she used is Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot.  I'm definitely going to have to use this combination on a card very soon!

The boats and the sentiment she used are from the Beach Babes stamp set.  She used a gold marker to add the stars into the sky and popped up the boats with 3D foam squares.

Have a great day!

We Mermaid for Each Other

Hello!

Cassie is joining us today with her mermaid card!  She used the Best Finfriends set to create an adorable scene.  I love how the "sand" is a die cut circle with the stamped part on top.  So creative!

Her background is also gorgeous and just shows how you can create your own background with ink instead of patterned paper.  That's my favorite thing to do!  The sea creatures have a little bit of Glossy Accents on them which is a fun touch!

Have a great day!

Sweetest Birthday

Hello!

One of my favorite sets by far is the Sweet Treats that was released this month!  I have such a sweet tooth and then images are fun to color.  I stamped them on a piece of watercolor card stock with VersaFine Ink and watercolored them with Peerless Watercolors.  These watercolors are so bright that I thought they would be perfect for these images!

I then die cut one circle out of white card stock and one a little larger out of vellum.  I stamped my sentiment on the smaller one and added some May Arts Natural Twine to the top of the card.

Have a great day!

Sea You Soon

 Hello!

We have Jung joining us on the blog today with an ocean card!  She heat embossed all of the little sea images from the Best Finfriends stamp set with white embossing powder.  She then created the gorgeous background with the Ken Oliver Color Bursts.  Isn't it so cool?

I love how she kept it simple with the white sentiment on black card stock and added a few clear sequins to look like bubbles.

Have a great day!

Set of Sweet Treats Cards

Hello!

Tara is joining us today with a video tutorial on how to create this set of sweet thank you cards!  She used the Sweet Treats set for these cards.  I love how simple they are because there are many times we need to create a quick card in a very short amount of time.

Swimming By

Hello!

Lisa is back with another slider card that is just as cute as can be!  She used the Best Finfriends stamp set with the mermaid moving back and forth across the card.
I love how she included all of the sea critters to complete the scene.  Also, the few blue sequins look like shiny bubbles floating on the card.

Have a great day!

Sweetest Birthday

Hello!

Cassie created an amazing card today that is going to make you hungry!  Don't those donuts look so real?  I love the entire design of this card!

She used the new Sweet Treats set and watercolored in each of the donuts.  The color palette is gorgeous and the donuts jump right off the card.

She heat embossed the sentiment in the red heart which draws your eye in.  Just perfect!

Have a great day!

Sending Sunshine

 Happy First Day of Summer!

I thought I would create a beach card since it's now officially summer!  I used the new Beach Babes set to create a fun little scene.  I stamped the sand on a piece of kraft card stock and then I fussy cut the top of it.

I colored in the images with Copics and also fussy cut them out by hand.  I added a little Tumbled Glass Distress Ink behind the sand and some May Arts Natural Twine around the top of the card.

Have a great day!

Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Welcome to the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

We also have a new release today, so make sure to go check out our shop and blog post about it!  I created two summer coffee cards for today's hop.  This first one I combined our Coffee Craze (which is now BACK IN STOCK!) and Happy Mail stamp sets.  I thought the bright flowers in the background screamed summer!

For the second card, I went with a slightly different colors palette.  I watercolored the background and then placed our Coffee Bean Stencil over the top of it and sprayed it with water.  I love how subtle it is.  I then used the Coffee Craze stamp set for the Iced Coffee and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!

Welcome to our last day of new stamp introductions!  Today we are sharing Best Finfriends!  It's an awesome mermaid set that also coordinates with the Beach Babes stamp set.  I love these cute mermaids that also have amazing matching sentiments.

We're happy to have Jung with us to share a card she made with this set.  It's a shaker card and all of the sequins look just like bubbles!  How fun!

I love the colorful seahorses and crab that she added to the card.  Such an awesome scene!

Have a great day!  We'll see you back here tomorrow at 7 AM CST for the RELEASE!

INTRODUCING: Sweet Treats

Hello!

It's Day 2 of our Introductions and we are sharing the new Sweet Treats set today!  I have a HUGE sweet tooth, so I needed to create a set with all of my favorites.  What is your favorite type of "sweet"?

Lisa made a sweet card with the cupcakes in this set.  She masked them off to make a whole pile of yummy goodness!  I love the softer watercolor look!

The cupcakes are also shimmery, which adds a nice detail to the card.  Did I mention how fun the sentiments in this set are?

Have a great day!

INTRODUCING: Beach Babes

Hello!

Welcome to Day 1 of our June Release Introductions!  Today we are sharing the new set called Beach Babes.  It's a fun one for summer and it makes the cutest beach scene cards!

Cassie made a shaker card with this set to show you how awesome it is!  I love that the whole card is a shaker with all of those amazing sequins!

She slipped the inner tube around the little girl and colored it in with bright, summery colors.  There are so many possibilities for what you can create with all of the little images that come in this set.

Have a great day!

Watercolor a Rainbow with Mint Owl Studio

Hello!

Jess is here with her last video today!  She will be stepping down from the DT and we are sad to see her go.  I've loved watching all of her videos and seeing the abundance of creativity.  We will miss you, Jess!

Watch here || Watch on YouTube

She started with a piece of watercolor card stock and added a watercolor rainbow.  Make sure to watch the video because she explains the technique for adding the watercolor really well.

She then used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set to stamp her sentiment over the rainbow.  I love the brights rainbow colors and the simple sentiment!

Have a great day!

Ahoy There!

Hello!

The pirate's are sailing by on today's card by Jung!  I love the little scene that she created!  From the water to the sky, it looks so realistic.  She used the A Pirate's Life stamp set.

She colored in the ship with the woodgrain pattern.  Doesn't it look like patterned paper?  It's so good!  Those puffy clouds are amazing and make me want to create some on a card of my own.  I also love the gold sequins that she added.  Perhaps they are from the hidden treasure?

Have a great day!
