Distress Ink Smooshing to Create Mud Puddles

Hello!

Jess is back today with a video tutorial!  She pulled out her Distress Inks and inked things up!  Watch the video to see what tool she used to create those mud puddles.

Watch here || Watch on YouTube

She used her Distress Ink to create the mud puddles in the background and also used them to color the pigs!  What an easy way to color and image without actually having to color!

She also added a little fun sparkle with the Hearts and Kisses mix.  It's not just for Valentine's Day!

Have a great day!

Anything is Possible!

Happy Friday!

I am always amazed by the creativity of our designers.  Every time I see one of their cards, my jaw drops.  When I saw this card by Jung, I thought it was amazing how she combined the Some Bunny and Piggy Party sets.  It's just an adorable card!

Her coloring is amazing and I love the detail of how each balloon is tied onto the piggy.  The Peach Passion sequins are the perfect touch to complete the card.

Have a great weekend,
Tracy

Thank You

 Good Morning!

We have some watercolor goodness for your today!  Lisa stamped the wreath from the Bundles of Joy stamp set and colored it in with watercolors.  She then stamped the sentiment from the Scripty Sentiments set in black ink and outlined it with a white gel pen.  That helps the sentiment "pop" on the card.

She also watercolored the background and added in a few pink sequins from the Blossom Mix. Such a pretty card!

Have a great day!

Set of Cards with Scripty Sentiments

Hello!

We have a set of cards to share today made by Cassie.  She used Distress Inks to create the different background combinations and then splattered them with water.  The water reacts with the ink and leaves the "bleached" look.  So cool!

She then heat embossed some of the sentiments from the Scripty Sentiments set with gold embossing powder.

On others, she heat embossed the sentiment in silver.

I just love the idea of creating a set of cards.  This would make a great gift!

Have a great day!

Religious Themed Easter Card

Hello!

I first want to mention that the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set will be back in stock in around 2 weeks.  We have been getting several people asking, so we know you are excited about this set!  We haven't been able to keep it in stock, so hopefully we ordered plenty this time!

Jess is with us today sharing a gorgeous Easter card!  Make sure to watch the video tutorial so you can make one just like it!

Watch here || Watch on YouTube

For this card, she stamped the cross from the Easter Blessings set on a woodgrain card stock and then used a darker woodgrain for the background.  I love how she colored in the flowers (and amazing fussy cutting!) and heat embossed the sentiment in gold.

Have a great day!

St. Patty's Day Shaker Card

Happy Friday!

As you know, around here we love shaker cards!  Jung created an amazing St. Patrick's Day shaker card!  Green is my favorite color, so I am in love with this card!  She heat embossed the glasses and sentiment from the Scripty Sentiments in gold.

She then used the Gold and Mint Owl Mix sequins inside of the shaker card.  I love the glitter paper around the outside edge to bring even more sparkle to the card.  So pretty!

Have a great weekend,
Tracy

With Sympathy + Winners

Hello!

Lisa is joining us today with a simple, yet stunning sympathy card.  She created the background with Distress Inks and then heat embossed the sentiment from the Scripty Sentiments set with white embossing powder.

She also added a few white and clear sequins from the Snowflake Mix.  You could also use the white sequins from the Chocolate Truffle Mix and the clear sequins from the Mint Owl Mix or Peach Passion Mix.  That is the awesome thing about the mixes.  It's like you get 3 colors for the price of one!

We have two winners to announce from the Share the Love Blog Hop!  Please email me with your mailing address within 1 week.

Thank you so much to everyone who hopped along and shared your cards with us!  It was a great event and we cannot wait to do it again next year!

Happy Easter

Welcome, friends!

Did you know that Easter is a little less than 6 weeks away?  Crazy, right?  It's time to get started on your Easter cards!  You can also use the Easter Blessings stamp set for Bible Journaling!  Cassie is with us today with a gorgeous Easter card.

She stamped the single flower multiple times to create the background and colored them in with bright colors.  Her coloring on the cross is amazing!  It has such great dimension!  The Happy Easter sentiment also comes in the set and she stamped it in black.

Have a great day!

Bright Watercolor Birthday Card featuring Mint Owl Studio Stamps

Hello!

You might need to put on your sunglasses for today's video!  Jess created a bright background for her birthday card.  It's sure to put a smile on the face of the recipient and make their birthday extra special.

Watch here || Watch on YouTube

She created the background with the Prima water-soluble oil pastels.  These blend really well with water and have great color.  After it was dry, she heat embossed the sentiment from the Scripty Sentiments in white for the focal point and then stamped the rest with black ink.

She then stamped the chevron pattern with the oil pastels to match the background.  The final step was adding the sequins from the Hearts and Kisses Mix and the Royalty Mix.

Have a great day!

Easter Blessings

Happy Friday!

Sometimes the most simple cards can say the most.  This card by Jung is no exception!  It is absolutely gorgeous!  She heat embossed the cross and sentiment in gold and then watercolored the background.  I love the soft colors she chose!

The die cut scalloped edge also softens the card and the touch of clear sequins adds a little bling.  This would be the perfect card to make multiples of to give to family and friends for Easter.

I also want to note that quantities are getting limited on some of our stamps.  We aren't sure when we will be restocking them, so if they are on your wishlist, pick them up now.  The limited sets include Happy Mail, Thoughts and Prayers, Sunny Day, and Some Bunny.

Have a great weekend,
Tracy

Piggy Birthday Party

Hello!

We have a fun birthday card made by Lisa to share today!  She combined the Piggy Party set with the banner from the I Moose You set.  How awesome!  She used all three of the pig images and did an amazing job coloring them in.  The color looks so realistic.

I think it's so clever how she added the banners to the fence posts!  A few Electric Mix sequins and her card is ready to make someone's birthday extra special.

Miss You Pig Time

Hello!

We hope you you all enjoyed the Share the Love Blog Hop yesterday!  We cannot wait to see what you create!  Cassie is on the blog today and I don't know if I've picked my jaw up from the floor yet!  It is such a cute card and I love how she combined two stamp sets for the sentiment.

She created the scene with the Piggy Party stamp set.  Isn't the mud amazing?  That's one question I never thought I'd be asking.  Haha!

For the sentiment, she stamped the "missing you" from the Scripty Sentiments set and the masked off part of a sentiment from the Piggy Party set.  Very creative!

Have a great day!

I created this card using the new Scripty Sentiments stamp set.  I love the images that come with it, so I decided to use one to be the focal point of my card.  I stamped it with lilac, bright pink, and yellow inks.  I then heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of black card stock so that it would stand out on the card.

My final step was to add some Electric sequins.  These sequins are so bright and fun!  It adds just a touch of sparkle to your card.

A Couple More Peeks

Hello!

We hope you loved all three of the new stamp sets!  Remember, they will be available at 7 AM CST on Monday.  We have a big blog hop starting at the same time, so make sure to get your orders in quickly - we do anticipate that some of the sets will sell out!

I created a couple of extra cards using the new sets to share with you.  This first one is using the Easter Blessings set.  I created the watercolor background and then stamp the image on a die cut circle.  I then colored it with Copics to match the background.

The second card I made was using the new Scripty Sentiments set combined with the older Some Bunny set.  I stamped the blue and green background on a die cut circle and then stamped the sentiment on a piece of black card stock.  I colored in the bunny with my Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils.  The sequins I used are from a new mix called Ocean Waves.  They are gorgeous!

Have a great weekend,
Tracy

Introducing: Piggy Party

Hello!

Critters are by far my favorite type of stamps, so I couldn't resist creating an entire piggy set.  These are not your average muddy and dirty piggies.  These are cute and adorable pigs that are ready to party! How fun would these be on a birthday card or maybe even a thinking of you card?  That's right, the sentiments that come with this set are practical.  You'll actually send a card with them instead of just admiring the cuteness!

I started by stamping the "mud" onto my background and then I colored in the entire scene with Copics.  I also colored in the pig with Copics, but I fussy cut him out.  I then stamped the adorable sentiment and added in the new Peach Passion sequins.

I hope you love this set as much as I do,
Tracy

Introducing: Easter Blessings

Hello!

I shared a sneak peek of this stamp set on Periscope the other day and everyone was very excited about it.  Last month, we released the Easter stamp set called Some Bunny and this month we are releasing a religious Easter stamp set.  It includes two crosses that are so fun to color with your favorite medium.  It also has eight sentiments and a gorgeous banner.

Lisa created an Easter card using this set.  I love how she colored in the cross to look like it has a wood grain texture.  She also added the blue shadow around the cross that really makes it pop.  Just an overall beautiful card!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Introducing: Scripty Sentiments

Hello!

It's hard to believe that it's already February and today we get to start introducing the new February stamps.  I may have mentioned that the release day would be this Friday, but we are actually going to move it to Monday the 8th.  We have a super special blog hop that day and a promotion that we don't want you to feel left out on if you would have ordered on Friday.  Hopefully that makes sense.  Let's go ahead and introduce the new Scripty Sentiments stamp set!

This set is going to be one that never leaves your craft desk to go into storage.  It's perfect for so many occasions and it's just the right size for cards.  Cassie created a perfect sample for you to see how well it works.

She heat embossed one of the images from the set and then added the Distress Ink to the background. The sequins she used in the shaker part are also new to the shop.  They are called the Mint Owl Mix.  I love the silver embossed sentiment on the black card stock!

Have a great day!

Happy Birthday with Jung

Hello!

We have just one more day until we start sharing our new February Release!  Today though, you get to enjoy and be inspired by this adorable card by Jung.  She created a soft scene using the Happy Mail, I Moose You, and Some Bunny stamp sets.  Pretty amazing, right?

For the sentiment, she stamped the "happy" from the Happy Mail set and the "birthday" from the I Moose You set.  She also used the heart balloon from the Some Bunny set and just drew in her own string so it looks like the moose is holding it.  I love the soft watercolor background paired with the gingham red background.  Such a lovely birthday card!

Have an awesome Monday!
Tracy
