Congratulations Baby Card!!

HELLO MINT OWL STUDIO FRIENDS!!
Larissa here today to share a SWEET CONGRATULATIONS Card!! I have several friends welcoming babies into their lives and I wanted to use the AMAZING Bundles of Joy Stamp Set to create a Card for one of them!!

I Started by Stamping the Floral Wreath Image ALL over the Background of my Card Base using some  Hippo Lawn Fawn Ink!! I created a Grid on the Base of my Card so I could Stamp the Design evenly!! Then I erased the Grid Lines and Die Cut a Scalloped Circle Die Cut to help make the Focal Image and Banner stand out against the Beautiful Background!! I Stamped and Embossed the Banner and Sentiment and the SWEET Baby Calf Image!! Then I used my Distress Inks to Watercolor the Image and used some Foam Tape to POP it up!! I added the Banner Sentiment Image using Foam Tape too and added some Crystal Clear Sequins and my Card was Finished!! I hope this gives you some INSPIRATION on ways to create some CONGRATULATIONS Baby Cards too!!

Teacher Birthday Gift/Tags!! =)

HELLO!!
Larissa here with a FUN Teacher's Birthday Gift and Gift Tags to share!! Beckett's Teacher just celebrated a Birthday and I thought it would be FUN to create something for her touse in her Classroom!! So I decided to create some Flower Pencils in a Chalkboard Painted Jar!! My Idea is to keep giving her Pencils finished with different ends all throughout the Year!! That way she will NEVER run out of Pencils and she can ALWAYS Spot one of her Pencils because of the Decorative Ends I've created!! To Start I went with Daisies!! I've used a Tag Die and then Stamped and Embossed the Flowers from the "Love for Mom" Stamp Set along with the Happy Birthday Sentiment from the "Piggy Party' Stamp Set and the Leaves from the "Bundles of Joy" Stamp Set!! I use Distress Ins to Watercolor the Images on the Tags and I really LOVE the way it accents the Jar and my Pencil Flowers!! SQUEAL!!

To create my Flowers I used some Prima Ribbon and cut apart the Daisies and layered two for each Flower!! Then I Die Cut some Felt and some Patterned Fabric then added some Felt Leaves to Finish off the Flowers!! The Jar was Painted First with some Light Pink Martha Stewart Paint after it was Dry I added some Glitter Paint just to the Letters on the Front of the Jar and let that dry!! Once Dry I I coated with some ChalkBoard Paint and then let that dry!! Once Dry I took some Fine Sand Paper and rubbed over the Jar to reveal some of the Details and Colors underneath!! Its hard to see in the Pictures but the Glitter really adds a FUN detail in real life and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! I'm thinking this is going to be SO FUN to add to throughout the year!! Thinking Witch Boot for Halloween!! I CAN'T WAIT to share them with you!!

Get Whale Soon Shaker Card!!

HELLO!!
Larissa here to start the Week off with a SWEET Get "Whale" Soon Shaker Card!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the New "Get Well Critters" Stamp Set and thought it would be FUN to add some Flowers to the Belly of the Whale Image for a more Femine Design!! I Stamped and Embossed the Whale Image onto some Distress Watercolor Paper using Hero Arts White Embossing Powder!! Then I took the Flower Wreath Image from the "Bundles of Joy" Stamp Set and Stamped and Embossed it onto the Belly of the Whale again with White Embossing Powder!! I used Distress Inks to Watercolor the Images and then Die Cut some Waves and a Background for my Shaker Window!! I added the Sequins and a Sentiment in a NEW Stitched Die coming SOON (make sure to Join us Next Week for the Release Introductions for August!!) I added some Twine, some Flowers and the Whale to Finish of the Front of the Card!! I LOVE the way it turned out and think it will bring a MUCH needed SMILE to someone's Face!!

How to Make A Baby Shaker Card (Video Tutorial)

It's Tracy here with a video tutorial for you!  I love shaker cards, so I thought I would share how to create a shaker card with our stamps and sequins.  I hope you enjoy the video!

I stamped my own background with the flower image in a light gray color.  I also inked the edges with the Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to help define the edges.  For the inside of the shaker card, I added the Blue Blossoms mix.  This mix is perfect for shaker cards because it has sequins and beads.

I colored in both the bundled owl and cat images from the Bundles of Joy set to add to the card.  Two animals is always better than one!  I added in a few of the flower sequins onto the outside of the card.

Today I have a video tutorial to share using the Bundles of Joy stamp set.  This is one of my favorite stamp sets because it seems like I am constantly making new baby cards for my friends.  The critters are adorable and so fun to color!

 I created the subtle background with white embossing paste and a stencil.  I then stamped the floral circle with the Stitched Circle die from Simon Says Stamp in a light yellow ink.  I stamped, colored, and fussy cut the roses and cow image.

I just love how all of the sentiments fit right into the banner stamp!  I couldn't resist adding a few sequins from the Snowflake mix.

Welcome Baby Girl

Hello!

We shared Angel's baby boy card last week, so today we are going to sharing the baby girl version!  She used the Bundles Of Joy set to create a simple, yet adorable baby card.

I love using the smaller stamps to create my own backgrounds.  Angel heat embossed the hearts on the pink card base for a subtle look.  I also love how she curved the sentiment stamp along the edge of the circle die cut.  That's just one benefit of photopolymer stamps!

We have a card to share today by guest designer, Angel!  She used the Bundles of Joy set to create an adorable baby card.  I love how she heat embossed the flowers on the background in clear and then added the groups of dots.

She also added some black sequins that come in out Cloudy Day mix.  The sequin mixes are nice because you can pick out just one color or use them all together!

December Release!

Hello!

Today is an exciting day as we are releasing 2 new stamp sets and 3 new sequin mixes!  First, let me introduce you to the Bundles of Joy stamp set.  This is an adorable set that can be used for baby cards, or you can use the wreath and banner for any occasion.

Check out this fun card using the Bundles of Joy stamp set by Guest Designer Dana!

The second new set is called Happy Mail.  It is perfect for making cards, tags, or decoration your envelopes.  This is a must-have set in your craft room!

Guest Designer Angel used the Happy Mail set to create a gorgeous card!

The first of the new sequin mixes is called Pink Petals.  It has light pink flowers, dark pink flowers, clear sequins, and clear tube beads.  Perfect for shaker cards!

The second mix of sequins is called Electric.  These sequins are truly electric with this bright colors and sparkle!

The final sequin mix is called Blue Blossoms.  It is the same as the Pink Petals mix except with blue flowers.  Still just as gorgeous and ready decorate your cards!

We are also adding some glassine bags to the shop.  These are perfect for adding in a special treat or cookies!  They measure 4 3/4" x 6 3/4."

Welcome Everyone!
