Good morning, and happy Tuesday! I hope you're all having a great week. It's Cassie here, and I've got another holiday card t share with you. I had made this one a while back and just realized that I never posted it.
I started by stamping the branch from the Cardinal Greetings onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then I took my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and drew over the branch and pine needles. I also stamped the donut from Sweet Treats three times below the branch and colored them in with my Zig Markers. The background was made using the markers too.
I die cut a banner from some more Bristol Smooth cardstock and heat embossed a sentiment I made using two different sets. Half of it comes from the Sweet Treats set, and the other part is from the Cardinal Greetings set. I ink blended Lucky Clover Distress Ink over the banner and splattered it with water to make the splotches.
I attached the banner with foam tape, added some glossy accents and white gel pen sprinkles to the donuts and the card was complete!
I hope you guys enjoyed this card! It was a fun one to make. Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you again soon with another card!

VIDEO Watercoloring with Distress Inks featuring Sweet Treats
Hi all and happy September!! Yay! It's Tara and today I am sharing a card that was so much fun to create and could be easily and quickly replicated! I used the Sweet Treats stamp set along with my Distress Inks to create a fun piece of patterned paper inspired by a coloring book page.
First, I stamped a piece of Distress Watercolor card stock using VersaFine pigment ink with cupcakes and candies. The pigment ink stays wet long enough to apply clear embossing powder over the top and when you heat set it you get a shiny, raised pattern that adds a lot of dimension and interest to your project.
Next, I squished some Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Inks on my craft mat and added a little water. I used my water brush to apply the water to the background of my patterned paper. Once I was happy with the background I added some sparkle with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen and Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins.
For added dimension I die cut a panel out of the center of my piece and popped it up on some craft foam. My sentiment is white heat embossed on black and attached using mini staples.
Thank you so much for joining me today! I'll see you again soon! Bye!

Adding Texture with Sparkle featuring Sweet Treats
Hello, all! It's Tara and I hope you've been having a fabulous week! Today I am sharing a sweet thank you card featuring Sweet Treats! I am late to the donut parade but I'm finally here and couldn't resist adding lots of sparkle to these adorable little guys!
I started by using some Bo Bunny Sugar glitter paste (one of my fave go to items) and the new Sprinkles stencil. Using some light pink card stock made me feel like the entire card was actually a giant, pink frosted donut! I love the look of the clear sparkly sprinkles on the pink. Nice and subtle for a background but still really eye catching and glittery.
I stamped the donuts on some Bristol Smooth White card stock and used my beloved Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers (colors are listed in supplies below) to color them in. The frosting is sparkled up with some Neon Flamingo Stickles. I always forget about my Stickles but when I bust it out I just fall in love all over again!
My sentiment was die cut three times and stacked to create a dimensional word. I used the 'sweetie' from the 'thanks, sweetie!' sentiment in the stamp set and just embossed the part I needed since I was using the die cut word. I think the black helps to offset all the fun pink. And my craft room is black and pink so I'm a little partial to that color combo!
I hope you enjoyed today's card and I'll see you all again soon! Thanks so much! Bye!

So Happy Together...
I can't take you loving' nobody but me, for all your life.... come on and tell me you totally aren't singing that song now... hehehe! It is Lisa here with you today on this amazing Wednesday! I hope your week is going well so far, because I'm hopefully about to bring a little smile your way with today's card...
This card uses lots of fun Mint Owl Studio products including: Happy Moments, Coffee Craze, and Sweet Treats Stamp Sets, the Half Tone Stencil, and Sprinkle Stencil. Woot woot! To create this card I started by going over my Sprinkle Stencil with yellow and orange distress inks. I then die cut the heart out of the middle and set this panel to the side. Next, I used the Half Tone Stencil on a separate panel and went over this one with fired brick distress ink. I then lined the two panels together to stamp my sentiment in the center. After popping the sprinkled panel up with foam adhesive I stamped and colored the coffee cup and donut and fussy cut them out to add in the corner of my heart.
I have to admit I wasn't really sure where I was going with this card when I started out with the first stencil, but after looking at this sentiment and singing the song over and over in my head the rest just sort of fell into place :).
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Sweet With You...
Hello, hello! It is Lisa Lahiff here with you today and I am excited to share a super sweet card with all of you.
Let's start with that background, isn't it yummy? I used the Mixed Triangles Stencil with some Heidi Swapp Art Screen Ink, and I love it! The sweets all come from the newer set, "Sweet Treats" Stamp Set. I simply stamped them on separate card stock and colored them in with Copics. I then decided that the mint and lollipops needed a little shine to resemble their sticky goodness, so I added some glossy accents to the top of them. Once everything was dried I trimmed them all out and layered them with my stenciled background and some patterned paper. I then stamped the sentiment onto vellum and stapled it to the top. The finishing touches came with some sequins... speaking of sequins, you can pick some up now in the shop at half off! yay!

Sweet Birthday
Hello!
Jung has the sweetest card to share with us today! I love how she repeatedly stamped the lollipop image from the Sweet Treats set to create the background. The colors she used are so bright and yummy!
The white heat embossed sentiment on the black card stock really pops against the bright background. I also love the touch of the colorful sequins scattered about. Such a fun card!
Have a great day!

Sweetest Birthday
Hello!
One of my favorite sets by far is the Sweet Treats that was released this month! I have such a sweet tooth and then images are fun to color. I stamped them on a piece of watercolor card stock with VersaFine Ink and watercolored them with Peerless Watercolors. These watercolors are so bright that I thought they would be perfect for these images!
I then die cut one circle out of white card stock and one a little larger out of vellum. I stamped my sentiment on the smaller one and added some May Arts Natural Twine to the top of the card.
Have a great day!

Sweetest Birthday
Hello!
Cassie created an amazing card today that is going to make you hungry! Don't those donuts look so real? I love the entire design of this card!
She used the new Sweet Treats set and watercolored in each of the donuts. The color palette is gorgeous and the donuts jump right off the card.
She heat embossed the sentiment in the red heart which draws your eye in. Just perfect!
Have a great day!

INTRODUCING: Sweet Treats
Hello!
It's Day 2 of our Introductions and we are sharing the new Sweet Treats set today! I have a HUGE sweet tooth, so I needed to create a set with all of my favorites. What is your favorite type of "sweet"?
Lisa made a sweet card with the cupcakes in this set. She masked them off to make a whole pile of yummy goodness! I love the softer watercolor look!
The cupcakes are also shimmery, which adds a nice detail to the card. Did I mention how fun the sentiments in this set are?
Have a great day!
Tracy
