Hello! It is Lisa here with you, and can you believe we only have 4 more sleeps until Christmas?! Yay! Any who I'm sharing a sweet and bright Christmas card today with all of you...
Isn't he just so cute? This little guy comes from the I Moose You Stamp Set and I've used my new Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color him, and the background in. Now I know this is kind of a Christmas card, so why did I make a spring background... well hey! Some places don't get snow at Christmas, so that's where this guy is... somewhere that it doesn't snow hahaha! I then used the Banner Sentiments 2 Set for my sentiment and stamped it onto a banner die cut. I finished it off with a bow in the corner from the Packaged Pretty Die Set.
I hope this card has brightened your day a bit and Happy Crafting!

Holiday Greetings!
Hello! It is Lisa here with you today and I am so excited to share this fun and shiny Christmas card with all of you...
To create this card I started by laying the Christmas Quilt Stencil over Black cardstock and applying versa mark ink. I then lifted the stencil and added some Wow! Embossing Powder in Cha Cha Cha. After this was heat set I adhered it to a panel of gold foil cardstock. Next I stamped and embossed both the bird and sentiment from the Cardinal Greetings Stamp Set with a gold embossing powder. I then adhered these to my card and ta da!
These are not typical colors I think of when creating Christmas cards, but I think it works well and really creates a rich look.
Thanks so much for stopping by and feel free to share what you are creating with your Mint Owl Studio goodies on any of our social media sites!

Dear Santa, is it too late?
Hi everyone,
I'm back with a Christmas card for you today and I chuckle every time I see this sentiment so I thought I would add it to my card.
I cut a piece of patterned paper and cut it out with a stitched rectangle die and cut out a couple of snow drifts with some stitched hills die and cut them out of white card stock. I added the sentiment to one of the hills and added them everything to the card base with liquid glue and foam tape.
I used the rein deer, sleigh, candy cane, present and the holy from the Dear Santa set and coloured them in with my copics and added some glitter to the sleigh. You can't have a Christmas card without some glitter. I then added three enamel dots to finish off the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by, see you again soon!

One Layer for Christmas
Hello! It is Lisa here with you today and I'm sharing a fun one layer that gives the illusion of dimension with some embossing. Check it out...
To create this card I used the Cardinal Greetings Stamp Set, opting to make the small snowflake image the star of my card. To do this I started by running my cardstock and rectangle die through my diecutting machine, but rather than cut the rectangle out I used the embossing plates and mat to emboss the frame into the card. This created the perfect line for me to follow when masking off the edges. I decided it would be easiest to stamp my sentiment first with Versafine ink and then stamp and emboss the snowflake randomly on the rest of the open area. Once this had cooled off I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress ink to shade in my snowy sky. The masked were then removed and I added a few splashes of water for more dimension in the background. To finish the card off I used some blue and gold twine.

Deck the Halls
Hello everyone,
I'm back with a Christmas card from our Trim the Tree stamp set and the Christmas Quilt Stencil.
As I was creating this card my daughter wanted to help so she fussy cut one of the boughs and I added it along with the others. She will be tickled that it made it to a blog post!
I stamped and coloured in the ornament and pine boughs black in and coloured them in with my copics. I fussy cut these out and for the ornament, I added glossy accents to make it shiny.
For the front panel, I used the Christmas Quilt Stencil and blended in Candied Apple and Lucky Clover distress inks.

To create the card base I die cut two panels and scored one of them on the top at about 1/4 down and adhered it to the front panel making this a shaped card.
I cut out a smaller panel and stamped the sentiment with black ink and popped it up on foam tape. I then added the boughs and ornament.

Sparkly Season's Greetings
Hello! It is Lisa here with you today and I have a super sweet and sparkly Christmas card to share. This card was created with the new Cardinal Greetings Stamp set and I just love the classic elements in this set and all of the various ways you can use them...
To create this card I started with an oval frame diecut out of the middle of my card front. I then stamped my bird and tree image onto separate Neenah White Card stock, colored them in with my Copics and white gel pen, and trimmed them out. These were set to the side while I cut a piece of acetate slightly larger than the oval window and adhered double sided tape to cover the entire piece of acetate. This too was set to the side while I adhered the tree branch to the backside of the oval, and the bird onto the front side. The adhesive covered acetate was then laid behind all of this covering the open "window", and then covered with Martha Stewart glitter. At first I had contemplated using white glitter to give a snow effect, but I felt like it would blend too much into the cardbase and so I chose the blue to really give a pop, and it did! I then finished the card by stamping the sentiment in a green ink and adhering some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins.
Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

And A Happy New Year
Hello!!! It's Lisa here with you today and aren't you just loving the newly released stamp sets?! I sure am! Today I'm sharing a pretty little Christmas card with you that uses the Cardinal Greetings Stamp Set...
To create this card I started by stamping the bough image all the way around a panel in various green inks. I then went over the panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and die cut the bottom edge. Next I die cut a star and stamped my sentiment in the center of it. I finished it all off with some blue sequins.
This card was super easy and could be used for mass production purposes. Feel free to share with us what you are creating with your Mint Owl Studio Goodies on any of our social media sights, or by tagging us on your own sites!
