Share the Love Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Mint Owl Studio Share the Love Blog Hop!

The idea of this event is to make a card and send it to
someone you love. We are part of an amazing hobby and we can use our talent to put a smile on someone’s face. You can send it to a friend or family member who has a birthday, needs some encouragement, or just to say hi. Make sure to leave a comment on all of the blogs on this hop to be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate to the Mint Owl Studio store. There will be one winner chosen, so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chance is to win!

I created this card using the new Scripty Sentiments stamp set.  I love the images that come with it, so I decided to use one to be the focal point of my card.  I stamped it with lilac, bright pink, and yellow inks.  I then heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of black card stock so that it would stand out on the card.

My final step was to add some Electric sequins.  These sequins are so bright and fun!  It adds just a touch of sparkle to your card.

  10. This might actually be something I can do! Can't tell you how frustrating I find the learning process. I love the scripty stamp. Some of the script stamps out there are cute, but a little hard to read. Yours are just perfect! Thanks so much.
