Colored Vellum Ice Cream Card

 Good Morning!

Lisa is joining us with a technique she learned how to do in the new Online Card Classes class.  She colored on a piece of vellum and then overlaid that on her stamped images from the Ice Cream, You Scream stamp set.

She attached the sentiment with two staples and added in a few Electric sequins.  I love the bright, bold color combination!  It looks very much like summer!

Have a great day!

Mother's Day Card

Hello!

Mother's Day is just around the corner and we have the perfect set to help you created your card.  The awesome part?  The Love for Mom stamp set can be used for so much more than just Mother's Day!  Lisa has a beautiful watercolor card today.  I love the soft colors and how there is coordinating patterned paper in the background.

She masked off the sentiment and stamped it across the banner.  A few Electric sequins and her card is ready to give to mom!

Have a great day!

Piggy Birthday Party

Hello!

We have a fun birthday card made by Lisa to share today!  She combined the Piggy Party set with the banner from the I Moose You set.  How awesome!  She used all three of the pig images and did an amazing job coloring them in.  The color looks so realistic.

I think it's so clever how she added the banners to the fence posts!  A few Electric Mix sequins and her card is ready to make someone's birthday extra special.

You can send it to a friend or family member who has a birthday, needs some encouragement, or just to say hi. Make sure to leave a comment on all of the blogs on this hop to be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate to the Mint Owl Studio store. There will be one winner chosen, so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chance is to win!

I created this card using the new Scripty Sentiments stamp set.  I love the images that come with it, so I decided to use one to be the focal point of my card.  I stamped it with lilac, bright pink, and yellow inks.  I then heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of black card stock so that it would stand out on the card.

My final step was to add some Electric sequins.  These sequins are so bright and fun!  It adds just a touch of sparkle to your card.

Some Bunny is Thinking of You

 Welcome, crafty friends!

It's Lisa turn on the blog today and she made the cutest card with the Some Bunny set!  She stamped the larger and smaller flowers in the top right hand corner and colored them in beautifully.  She then used the spots as berries and leaves from the My Deer set.  How creative is that?

I love how she added the soft shadow under the bunny.  It's those little details that make the card!  I can't forget about the shiny sequins from the Electric mix that she also added.  Such a fun card!
