Teacher Thank You

Hello!

Cassie is joining us today with an adorable teacher thank you card with the Class Act stamp set!  I love how the background looks like a piece of notebook paper.  It ties in so well with the rest of the card.

The solid stamped images are perfect to add to the background and the colors match perfectly.  I love how she stamped all of the sentiments and made her own!

The colored pencils are so fun and the Kaleidoscope sequins are the perfect finished touch!

Have a great day!

INTRODUCING: Class Act

Hello!

It's the last introduction of our April release which is called Class Act.  It's a fun school-themed set that is perfect for making teacher cards or using it on school scrapbook pages.  I love the mix of the sentiments and all of the images that are perfect for coloring!

I stamped the school bus and the little boy and colored them in with Copic Markers.  I then heat embossed the ruler on the kraft card base with clear embossing powder.  It works great for a subtle background.  I heat embossed the sentiment with two different colored embossing powders and added a few sequins from the Kaleidoscope Mix.

All three of the new sets will be in the shop Friday morning at 12 AM CST.  It's a different time than our other releases, but we know that we have overseas and night owl customers that sometimes don't get the chance to shop when we do early morning releases.

Have a great day!

Mint Monday with Jess + New Design Team Member

Hello!

Jess is joining us for another Mint Monday today!  She has a fun card in her signature rainbow style.  I love how that color pops on the black background!

She used the cute owl from the Outrageous Owls set and the sentiments from the Piggy Party set.  I love the bold, solid sentiment stamp because it is fun to stamp with colored inks!

She then placed each colored sequin from the Kaleidoscope Mix next to the colored sentiment.  I loved how they move across the card!

I am also thrilled to announce that we will be adding a new team member!  Please welcome Tara to the team!  She will be sharing new videos and cards with us starting on the 21st.  I cannot wait to share what she has been working on!

Have a great Monday,
Tracy

Card Background with Critter Stamps || Mint Owl Studio

Hello!

Welcome to another Mint Monday with Jess!  She has a fun card and video to share today, so make sure to leave her some love in the comments!  She has been doing an awesome job with the videos and we cannot thank her enough!

I love how she created her own "patterned paper" with the Outrageous Owl set!  By using the stamps, you can choose what colors you want everything to be or coordinate it with supplies you may already have.

She also added in a few of the orange sequins from the Kaleidoscope mix.  That's what I love about the mixes!  You can use them all together or just pull out the colors you want to use.

Have a great Monday!

Reverse Stamping on a Thank You Card

Hello!

Welcome to Mint Monday with Jess!  She has an amazing rainbow and coffee card to share today.  What more could you need on a Monday morning?  Make sure to watch the video because she shares a cool technique and one that I haven't tried yet.

Isn't that reverse stamping technique such an awesome idea?  I love how you get that crisp outline that goes slightly outside the edge of the lined stamp.  I also think it's great that Jess used the Coffee Craze stamp set to create a card without coffee.

I was so excited when Jess came to me with the idea to create a rainbow sequin mix!  It's perfect for me because I always create rainbow patterns on my card and now we have a mix to coordinate.  If rainbows aren't your thing, you can always use the colors individually.  Jess also created a bonus card that we are happy to share.

She stamped the coffee cup and colored it in a rainbow pattern.  She also used the solid heart stamp to look like confetti in the background. The final step was to embellish her card with the Kaleidoscope mix to match the coloring!

Thanks for stopping by!
