Happy Holidays with Tracie

Today we are sharing another card by guest designer Tracie!  She colored the critters from Stocking Peekers and made it look like they are peeking out from the window.  It looks like it is snowing in the background and I can just image it being cozy inside with the fire place on.

Her coloring is amazing and the color palette is gorgeous!  Thanks for taking the time to guest design, Tracie!

Happy Hedgehugs with Amy

We are back today with a second card by guest designer Amy.  Her card is a great example of how versatile the Christmas Critters stamp set is.  You don't have to just used them for Christmas cards!  This card would be perfect for Valentine's Day!

The pink patterned paper and glittery pink hearts are the perfect touch for the punny sentiment.  I also like how the hedgehog is peeking out for the grass.  So adorable!

Meowy Christmas with Yukari

We are excited to share a second card by guest designer Yukari!  Her clean and simple style is amazing!  We are grateful that she took the time to design with our new stamps.  Thanks, Yukari!

She used the Stocking Peekers stamp set for her card.  The cute gray kitty is peeking out of the striped stocking.  I love how it is tied up with the twine bow and is decorated with the holly.  The white sentiment stands out against the black background.  A lovely card!

BIG Christmas Wishes with Audrey

I am so excited to share this gorgeous card by guest designer Audrey!  She created an amazing scene using the Christmas Critters stamp set.  I cannot get over the detail in her coloring and how it makes the images come to life.

She added patterned to her presents using a white gel pen and stamped the sentiment in a stitched speech bubble.  So cute!  Thanks for taking the time to guest design with us, Audrey!

Warmest Wishes with Tracy

 Hi Friends!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready for some MOS inspiration this week!  We love the Christmas Critters set and are sure you will too!  It's perfect for all of your holiday or winter cards.
I watercolored the background with Distress Inks and colored in the images with Copic Markers.  Of course I had to add some Stickles to the trees and ground to look like snow.

The green polka dot background really ties the card together and brightens it up!

Set of Cards by Tracie

Today we are thrilled to share a set of cards made by guest designer Tracie!  She used the Stocking Peekers set to create her own backgrounds by stamping the images repeatedly.  What a clever idea!

I love how some of the fish are colored and some are black.  It draws your eye to the focal point.

These three mice are adorable peeking out from behind the die cut circle!

I love how she kept the main image in black and cream, but stamped a bold background.

These puppies are just the cutest!

How awesome would it be to give this set of cards as a gift?  Handmade and practical!

BIG Christmas Wishes with Amy

We are rolling right along looking at all of the amazing cards by our guest designers!  Today, we are super excited to have designer Amy Kolling.  She used the Christmas Critters set to create an adorable Christmas card!  I just saw a post on social media that said there are 10 Mondays left until Christmas.  What?!?!?  Yes, that means you need to start on those Christmas cards ASAP!  Our Christmas Critters and Stocking Peekers sets are perfect!

I love how she colored the images and did a little bit of a Pointillism technique (yes, I took several Art History courses in college, lol!).  The red frame around the outside ties everything together because of the red Santa hat and red ribbon on the present.  So cute!

A Moo-velous Holiday Tag with Audrey

Hello Friends!

Happy Holidays with Tracy

I am happy to be back here today sharing more inspiration!  We have some amazing cards by special guest designers throughout the next couple of weeks.  I cannot wait to share them with you!  I created this card using the Stocking Peekers set.  This set is so fun and you will be amazed at all of the cards you can create with it!

I stamped the images and colored them in with Copic Markers.  These are so easy to color, so if coloring is not your thing, don't worry!  I then watercolored on the circle die cuts and adhered them onto the card.

I stamped the sentiment, added a twine bow around the stocking, and added a few Snowflake Mix sequins.

Have A Moo-Velous Holiday

Thank you to everyone who has placed an order so far!  I thought I would give you a little more inspiration today using the Christmas Critters set.  I colored in the cow with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out.  Even though there are not matching dies, these images are super easy to fussy cut!

Isn't that such a fun and punny sentiment?  I love puns!

Have a  great day!

Good Morning!

Yay!  The day is finally here!  The new Christmas Critters and Stocking Peekers sets are now in the Mint Owl Studio Shop.

I mentioned the other day that you can use the Stocking Peekers set for non-Holiday cards too.  Well, I went a little crazy with the cats and added 4 of them to one card.  I colored each of the a different color and peeked them behind some die-cut circles.  I used the sentiment from the Sunny Day set and the clear sequins from the Snowflake mix.

So cute, right?  If you're not a cat person, you could so the same thing with the mouse, dog, or bear.

Have a great day!
